It can be quite the challenge getting your book out there when you don't have a lot of exposure as an author. We totally get it - we've got indie authors under our belt as well!
Because of this, many indie authors go unseen, and their book gems end up being overlooked. But not here. We want to prioritise our indie books just as much as our traditionally published options.
At Bookish Bris, we truly believe you have what it takes to succeed, and we want to help you get your book out there as much as we can.
Reasons to join us:
- Get more opportunities for book sales
- With our 10% off incentive, get more opportunities for book reviews
- Become part of a team that truly values your work and encourages your book marketing efforts
How you can submit a story:
It's as simple as sending us a PDF copy of your book to allwrittenthingsco@gmail.com - we'll then assess whether or not your story is suitable to be stocked in the bookstore (focusing on spelling, grammar, and book presentation).
While we're keen to take on your work, we do have some requirements for stocking.
Our terms:
- Our indie books deals are by consignment
- We require a 40% wholesale discount as per the industry standard
- For Brisbane authors, we'll need a small amount of physical stock on-hand for easy order distribution
- For authors outside of Brisbane, in order for us to stock your work, you must have your book available through IngramSpark
We're looking forward to seeing your story! Don't hesitate, send us a copy today!
