Get to know the authors!
All Greenport stories are co-written by two romance-obsessed best friends, Elaelah Harley and Alanya J. Stuckey. Elaelah has previously published two novels (A Plan to Save the World in 2021 and Wish You Were French in 2024). She has achieved a Bachelor of Media and Communications and her Masters in Editing and Publishing, and currently works in a school library. Alanya is an autistic writer who works full-time in the broadcast media industry. She has had a passion for storytelling from a very young age, creating original narratives since she was ten.
They’ve been co-writing since meeting on Bookstagram in 2021, and are present on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Threads.
How did Greenport Books come to be?
From Instagram mutuals to book besties, one thing led to another and an idea struck. Living in two different states of Australia, we spent countless hours on phone calls, Google documents, Pinterest boards, and Spotify playlists. Real life events inspired book scenes (*cough* Brisbane flood season meets the Library lockdown scene of LIOE *cough*) and somewhere in all the muck of drafts and planning sheets, out came a story we love and cherish.
We've been sitting on these stories for a while, and with Greenport Books as our creative vessel, it's time they finally reached you.
